Ever since I've look at the Laure de Sagazan's design I knew that I wanted to wear one of her amazing creation for my wedding. The retro and elegant touch of her dress stunned me. That's what i really wnated, a simple line with very unique et elegant details. when i saw these wedding dresses by Parisian designer Laure de Sagazan my heart sighed. and sighed. and for a brief moment i thought maybe just maybe i’d be able to afford a french wedding dress but finally i decided to get one unique piece for this unique day !
When the 2014 collection appears online I write her many mails to convince her to make me a dress with my mensurations, her studio is in Paris and I live in Montreal...and she only make custom orders with people she can meet. I've waited a few month for the confection and one of my friend who's often flying to France bring me back this treasure !
The dress is made of precious ivory silk crepe and Calais's lace. She entirely handmade, the quality of the fabrics is amazing. I've had never see a noble fabric like that. This dress is in very good condition, the lace is like new. The style is perfect for a vintage-rustic wedding.
I loved every minute in this dress and am excited for someone else to wear it on their special day.
