I found this dress tucked away Glamour Closet, a shop in Chicago that sells runway and showroom samples. A good friend of mine told me she'd found the perfect Monique Lhuiller here- I was a few blocks away at a conference and decided to peek in and look for a bargain in before full-on shopping back home. So happy I did- Authentic Ines DiSanto, in champagne/oyster! This dress is absolutely gorgeous with a hand beaded silk bodice, appliqued lace and a full tulle skirt made of more than 20 layers! The retail price of the dress is 8500, I paid 2600 and had the veil made for an additional 700 (chapel length and without gathering, included). The bodice is translucent and, unless you're daring, will need an opaque bustier underneath. Am happy to include the one I wore. Comfortable and light weight.
